Kutiman Mixes Maroon 5

שיתוף פעולה בין להקת הרוק המצליחה Maroon 5 וקותימאן שיצר עבורה קטע אודיו ויזואלי חדש.
קשה להאמין שעד לפני שנה וחצי היה קותימאן סוד ששמור ליודעי דבר ומביני מוסיקה. הדיבור עליו היה ילד פלא שיש לו את הפ'אנק. אבל אז הוא שיגר לעולם את הפרויקט המהפכני שלו Thru-YOU שהפך אותו לאחד מגיבורי האינטרנט הגדולים ביותר של השנים האחרונות. הפרויקט שהושק במרץ 2009 זכה לתהילת עולם ולאחרונה גם נבחר לרשימת 50 ההמצאות החשובות של שנת 2009 על ידי Time Magazine . הפרוייקט קיבל ריספקט מאנשים עם כבוד כמו קווסטלאב מה-roots, די ג'יי שאדו, ג'אזי ג'ף, בלינק 182 והרבה אחרים נפלו מהפלא הזה עם הפ'אנק.
באתר האינטרט שהושק לטובת הפרוייקט נספרו כבר כ10 מיליון צפיות. בין אלו היו גם חברי להקת הרוק המצליחה Maroon 5. לאחר שהרימו את הלסת שלהם מרצפה החבר'ה שלחו מייל שאומר במשפט – בוא נעבוד ביחד.
הוידאו החדש של קותימאן מבוסס על חומר מצולם של כל חברי הלהקה מנגנים, מג'מג'מים ונהנים במהלך סיבוב ההופעות האחרון שלהם בארה"ב.
קותימאן ערך את קטעי הוידאו הללו ויצר קליפ מוסיקלי חדש. בוא לצפות בפלא החדש של קותימן וMaroon 5  בקישור הבא:

"כשצפינו לראשונה בפרויקט המקורי של קותימאן נדהמנו מהיכולת שלו לקחת קטעי וידאו וליצור מהם יצירה מוסיקלית חדשה לגמרי",  מספר קלידן הלהקה Jesse Carmichael, "שלחנו לו מייל וסיפרנו לו שאנחנו מעריצים את העבודה שלו והוא כתב לנו בחזרה והציע שנעשה משהו ביחד. ובמהלך 6 חודשים צילמנו את עצמנו בנפרד במקומות שונים, חדרי חזרות, על הבמה ובבתים שלנו ושלחנו לקותימאן את החומרים בציפייה לראות מה הוא יעשה אתם. הוידאו שהוא יצר הוא כל מה שציפינו לו ועוד ואנחנו מחכים לשיתופי פעולה נוספים אתו בעתיד."
קותימאן ולהקתו הקותימאן אורקסטרה יופיעו ב14 ליולי בביתן 1 בגני התערוכה ביחד עם DJ Shadow

להקת MAROON 5 מתכננת להוציא את אלבומה השלישי "Hands All Over" ב- 21 לספטמבר 2010 ולצאת בסוף יולי הקרוב למסע הופעות בצפון אמריקה.
